Day 6 - 12th of Dec - Gangwon-Do, Seoraksan - Seoul, South Korea

Hanwha Resort - The living room here was much larger than the bedroom and hence we slept in there the previous night.

Mt. Sorak and me.(view outside the resort)

Daddy zooming me. Notice little Jun Hao in the back ground. He is 4 years old and no doubt the cutiest among all of us. He like to watch the cartoon "racing car" and often pull me along to watch or to play with his toy cars. ^^

A stone sculpture outside my resort. Sadly,I don't understand a single word on it.

Daddy brushing his shoe. Interesting.

Mt. Sorak

0930- Arrival at Seoraksan National Park. Evy, our local tour guide introducing to us about the history of Mt.Sorak.
For info: The national park covers 360 square kilometers and is dominated by dense forests bordering crystal clear streams, which tumble over cataracts and drop from precipices to from fleecy waterfalls as well as awesome sawtooth cliffs spiraling into the blue sky, glorious and mysterious temples and lonely hermitages that gives this park an unparalleled popularity. This place is also roamed by sun bears and therefore, has become a symbol of the mountain.

Seated bronze Buddha statue at Shinhungsa + me.
This was created with the hope that North and South Korea to reunite as one.

Daddy and Buddha statue.

Roadsign for mountain climbing.

Signboard of the Peacekeeping Budhha

Found some people from Singapore wishing their family well. This block costs around W10000, not cheap oh.

Yan at Shinhungsa Temple.

Introduction to wood printings.

Wood printing 1

Daddy and me at the war memorial.
Read the following to understand about the history of it. Baiscally, it is about the sudden attack of South Korea into North Korea in 1951.

1220- Lunch time on our way back to Seoul.

The usual dishes and steamboat we had everyday.

Stone Pot Rice 韓國濟洲辦飯. Delicious.
Caution: You have to stir the rice once it is served, if not, the rice will be charred. :P

1520- Ewha Womans University - the world's largest university for women, planted in 1883 by Mary F. Scranton.

Pretending to be studious.

Residential area outside Ewha Womans University. Notice there is no picture or words of any company below the block number, this means that these apartments are government owned.

The new Shopping mall M in Sinchon shopping district.

1720-Lotte world- The park is divided into an indoor and outdoor section. Inside 'Adventure Land' covers acres of streets representing different countries, which are filled with hundreds of activities, entertainments, shops, restaurants and ongoing parades. Outdoor Magic Island, with its fairy-tale castle, offers thrilling high-altitude rides, laser shows and pleasant walking trails around a lake. There is also an indoor ice-rink and a fascinating Folk Museum complete with miniature villages.

In this gigantic theme park, we are only given 4 hours of free time, not forgetting to calculate the time needed for our lunch. In the beginning, I had started to give up hope in playing those stimulating rollar coaster rides such as not to make myself disappointed. Indeed, it worked. I enjoyed myself very much although one of the reason is because I had the chance to visit the shooting site of my favourite korean drama "Stairway to Heaven".

Waiting for the Aeronauts Ballon Ride.

Camelot Carrouse. A romatic ride where 64 white steeds trots around.

Romance. ^^

Recall this in "STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN"? ^^ ^^Kwon Sang Woo proposing...

The Lotte Character and Me!

Dad and mum in Magic world!

Me and Magic World Castle.

Lastly, we went to the 3D Dynamic Theatre and Pharao's Fury ;)!
By the time we rushed to the entrance and met up our tour friends, it was 2210.

That night, we stayed at 华克山庄, which is the one and only 6 stars hotel in South Korea. Unfortunatly, we were so tired that we fell asleep instead of touring around the place. It was really a waste. The small and tiny room costed about 550 Sing dollars. @@ We only managed to visit the "walker-hill" casino, which is Korea's largest casino. The design is much similar than those of Las Vegas. Not much surprise.
