Day 9 -15th Dec- Seoul, South Korea

The overall layout of the stadium.
Daddy. GOAL GOAL GOAL. Self-indulged.
I can't belive that I was sitting at the coaches' area. Wow.

Surrouded by a total of 6 million seats.

Entrance for players. Imagine Casillia from Spain walking through here. ^ Pics taken inside the WORLD CUP STADIUM.
Changing Room.
Resting area. It seems like Mummy and Daddy are the bosses around here. The washroom. Boys going all naked here. ;P

Team Dressing Room.
^^Grasspatch for warming up exercises. ^Cabinets. Cool.

The representatives of World Cup 2002!!! Cutie. :)

Our lunch at the World Cup Stadium Mall. Cheese Rice. Delicious.
Mummy actually wanted noodles but got the number for the food wrong. Ended up eating some hot plate stuffs. Tasted not bad though.

A sheep cake. Took this especially for Brother Goat. ^^

Han River Cruise. (above is the cruise that we were on)
The route:
Yeouido - Yanghwa - Chuldu-san - Bam Island -Tongjak Bridge - Yeouido
It was around 1500 when we reached Yeouido, which was all the way West of Seoul. As we stepped out of the subway station, cold wind swept across our faces, bringing away all our heat and moisture. It was freezing cold. Minutes later, it started to drizzile. This was the last thing that I really wanted. Afterall, we are going for cruise and this weather can block us from those beautiful scenary of the Han River. Against the wind, I rushed to the nearest "road-side stall", praying for an umbrella. To my dismay, they only offer some spicy Kimchi. Despite everything, Daddy told me to carry on my plan. This was surprising, Daddy was not really frowning beacuse of the rain. We hurried to the terminal and was just in time to buy the ticket to the cruise ride at 1600. Interesting, we got a bunch of kindergarten children accompanying our cruise ride. ^^
Pics taken on the cruise.
63 Building.
At 249 meters (817 feet) high, it is the 3rd tallest building in South Korea, the 102nd tallest building worldwide, and is a Korean icon among skyscrapers. 63 probably refers to the building's 63 official stories, of which 60 are above ground level. The top floor nevertheless is considered the 63rd floor. Construction was completed in 1985. At that time, the 63 Building was the tallest building in Asia; it lost this title to the OUB Centre one year later, but remained the tallest building in South Korea until Mok-dong Hyperion I, Tower A surpassed it in 2002.

The Parliment House.
There are 24 pillars representing the different seasons in a year. Its construction is adopted from the palace of old Seoul.

Daddy on the cruise, passing by one of the many bridges.
Me and the group of kindergarten children.
Something real interesting happened on board. Due to the freezing weather out in the river, Daddy was trying to stay warm by dancing on the cruise deck. (along with me jumping) The children there were so amused by it. They kept on shouting, "Aijishe aineo! Aijishe Aineo!". Daddy was ignoring them at first until I told him that the children was saying, "Uncle, hello!" to him. He waved back frantically then. I was there laughing. Frantically laughing.

The signboard leading to the cruise. I am a pirate! High school in Korea. On our way to the 63 Building.
A pic taken inside the 63 Building. Big bears. My favourite.
We even watched the River Nile document at the IMAX theatre. Everything here was a million times better than that of our home system. The effect is even better than experiencing the tour on our own. Simply unbelievable and unimaginable.
An introduction to IMAX.
IMAX film has a frame size three times larger than conventional 70mm movies. As a result, the screens can also be correspondingly larger, with no loss of resolution. The 63 IMAX screen is 25m wide and 18m high- as tall as a 6-story building. The superb picture clarity is complemented by a powerful 6-track , high fidelity sound system.

Mummy finally got her bowl of noodles at 63 Building. Happy she is.
That night, Mummy wanted me to bring her to Namdaemun Market. We ended up there not long later and found that the atmosphere here was very much different from Dongdaemum. It was more than a disappointment. This place is filled with saddness. There are actually people sleeping in paper boxes here and the streets are pretty quiet and dead. Luckily, we managed to complete our mission of buying Mum Bae yong Jung's keychain.
A dining place along the street back to our hotel.
Interesting fact: If the restaurant serves pork, there will always be a pig cartoon pasted outside the shop. It is the same for beef, puffer fish etc. etc.
Street back to our hotel.
I forced dear Mummy and Daddy who are exhausted to stop and take this pic. Look at their expressions. ^^
Random shot. Korea, Seoul.
